SPIC MACAY chapter at IIT Palakkad started with idea of providing the students a
platform to admire and appreciate the pristine beauty of the Indian culture as well as exposing
them to their spiritual self. It marked the beginning of its journey on 23rd of October,2017, with the mesmerising performance of
magnificent Bharatnatyam dancer Dr. Narthaki Nataraj on the stage.

The working:
It all started with the effort of ex-dean student affairs Dr. Valsakumar and some volunteers who are committed to ensure that every student gets an opportunity to discover his/her inner self by organising different programmes under the banner of SPIC MACAY. Different concerts are organised regularly in the institute, earning the appreciation of the huge audience comprising of students as well as faculties.
Discussion regarding the organisation, regularly happens in a very lively and productive
manner.
Working as a team we feel proud and happy in being able to keep the ideology, and spirit of
SPIC MACAY alive and high.
